These terms cover ourolens.com and the Ourolens app, operated by Lock Jaw Disc Golf. Using the site means you accept them. They are written to be read once, in full, in a few minutes.
The short version: Ourolens shows you information. It never touches your keys or your money, and nothing on it is advice.
Ourolens is provided for information only. Nothing on the site — no price, chart, score, ranking, holder count, floor, DRep profile, alert or comment — is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, a recommendation, an offer, or a solicitation to buy or sell anything. We do not know your circumstances and are not acting for you.
Cardano tokens and NFTs are volatile and can go to zero. If you need advice, get it from someone licensed to give it in your country.
Market data on Ourolens is decoded from public chain sources: DEX pool UTxOs, marketplace contracts, governance state, and public APIs such as Koios. Decoding is our own work, and our own work can be wrong.
Prices, volumes, candles, holder counts, floors, portfolio values and governance figures may be delayed, incomplete, mispriced or simply incorrect. Thin pools produce prices that do not survive contact with a real trade. Stable-swap pools are priced approximately. Indexes start from the day they went live, so history fills in over time. Upstream feeds go down.
You must not rely on anything here for a trading decision. Verify against the chain and the venue you are actually trading on before you commit money.
Alerts are best-effort. Email and push delivery depends on networks and devices we do not control, and a missed or late alert is a possibility you accept when you set one.
You are solely responsible for your wallet, your private keys, your seed phrase, your passkeys, and every transaction you sign. Ourolens never receives, requests, generates or stores key material of any kind, and cannot recover a lost wallet, reverse a transaction, or move anything on your behalf.
Read every transaction before you sign it, including ones started from this site. Anyone who contacts you claiming to be Ourolens support and asks for a seed phrase, a private key, or a signature is stealing from you. We will never ask.
Ourolens is not a broker, an exchange, a custodian, a money transmitter, a money services business or an investment adviser. It never takes custody of funds, assets or keys, and no Ourolens-controlled address exists anywhere in any flow on the site.
Buying, selling and swapping are performed by independent third parties. The swap panel is DexHunter's own widget, connecting your wallet to DexHunter directly. Buying ADA is MoonPay's flow, in MoonPay's iframe. The routes on cashing out ADA are exchanges and providers you deal with yourself. Ourolens is not a party to any of those transactions, takes no commission on your ADA purchase, and cannot cancel, refund, release or chase an order — the provider's support can.
Ourolens does not buy, sell, exchange, hold or transmit cryptocurrency or fiat currency. These services are provided by independent, separately licensed third parties. Your ADA moves between your own self-custody wallet and the provider directly; the provider performs all identity verification, processes all payments, and is the counterparty to your transaction. Ourolens receives no funds at any point, never has access to your assets or private keys, and takes no commission. Availability varies by country and by US state. This is not financial, tax or legal advice.
Those providers have their own terms, their own identity checks and their own geographic limits, and you are bound by theirs when you use them.
An account is created when a wallet signs in, and it is identified by that wallet's stake key. You are responsible for keeping access to the wallet, email address and passkeys that can reach it. One person, one set of credentials: do not share sign-in access with anyone you would not hand the account to.
Ourolens is not for anyone under 18, and you must not use it if it is illegal to do so where you are, or if you are subject to sanctions that prohibit it.
You can delete your account and its data at any time from account settings. What that removes, and the two things it cannot reach, are set out in the privacy policy.
Core Ourolens is free. Membership is an optional paid tier — the price and what it includes are stated on the site at the time you subscribe, and payment is made on-chain in ADA. Not renewing is how you cancel; there is nothing to phone.
Usage credit is earned by using the product — routed swaps, stake delegation to the Ourolens pool, accepted data corrections — and is recorded in an append-only ledger against your account, each entry referencing the transaction it came from.
Credit reduces what you are billed. It is never paid out, never withdrawn, never transferred, never refunded and never exchanged for ADA or cash. It has no value outside your Ourolens bill. Credit in excess of a bill simply carries forward.
The earning rates, the credit model and the price of membership can change. Changes that reduce what you earn or raise what you pay will be announced on the site before they take effect, and credit already in your ledger is not clawed back. Credit is forfeited if you delete your account, since the ledger goes with it.
On-chain payments are final by nature. If something has gone wrong with a membership payment, email [[TO CONFIRM: support@ourolens.com]] and we will look at it — but no automatic refund right is implied by this paragraph, and the chain cannot be rewound.
Do not:
Automated access is fine within reason and within any published limits. Being obviously unreasonable about it is the line.
Ourolens is in public beta and is run by a very small operation. It may be unavailable, may lose data feeds, and may change. Features can be added, altered or removed. We will not silently move something free behind a paywall — if that happens, it is announced first, in public.
The site, its design, its code and its decoded datasets belong to Lock Jaw Disc Golf, except where a component is used under its own licence. On-chain data itself is public and belongs to nobody. Token names, logos and collection artwork belong to their issuers and appear here for identification. Ourolens does not endorse any token, project, DRep or provider by listing it.
Ourolens is provided as is and as available, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the data is correct or current, that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that alerts will arrive.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Lock Jaw Disc Golf and anyone working on Ourolens are not liable for any trading loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, lost data, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything on it — including incorrect, delayed or missing data, a missed alert, downtime, or the acts of any third-party provider you reach from here.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Ourolens in the twelve months before the claim, or US$100.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case only the exclusions permitted there apply.
If your use of Ourolens in breach of these terms causes a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable cost of dealing with it.
You can stop using Ourolens at any time, and delete your account and its data from account settings. We can suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, abuses the service, or has to be stopped to protect the service or other users — with notice where it is practical to give it, and immediately where it is not.
On termination, the sections that should outlive it do: no advice, no warranty, limitation of liability, intellectual property, and this paragraph.
These terms are governed by the law of [[TO CONFIRM: governing law and courts — jurisdiction of the operating entity]].
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and a material change is announced on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use Ourolens after that is acceptance. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still stands.
Questions: [[TO CONFIRM: support@ourolens.com]]. Wrong numbers and missing tokens are better reported on GitHub issues.
